To get to the church this is the only way. You had to basically wear shoes similar to mountain climbing boots because of the rough terrain. It was just a small pathway in some areas and in other areas broken steps. This was very difficult for a blind man to climb
Donations help to rent a front loader machine to excavate the road. Which took about 4 days?
After the excavation, members of the community were hired to build the road. Notice there were no machines used, it was all manual labour. The workers mixed the cement in a bucket and poured and spread by hand.
The work continues
The road is almost complete and a vehicle is able to drive up and drive down the hill.
